Terms of Use
The terms of a quiet arrangement.
These terms explain how this website may be used and how requests made through it are handled. They are written to be read plainly. Nothing in them affects the rights you have by law as a consumer.
Whitestones is currently operated as the Whitestones luxury brokerage service. Formal legal entity details will be added before public commercial launch.
About Whitestones
Whitestones is a private luxury brokerage and arrangement service. Clients may ask us to source or arrange vehicles, aviation, marine, motorcycles, property, experiences, concierge services and private sourcing. We act on your behalf to find and arrange what you have asked for, usually through independent owners, operators and suppliers. Unless we tell you otherwise for a particular arrangement, Whitestones does not own the vehicles, aircraft, yachts, properties or other assets it arranges.
Using this website
Please use this website lawfully, and give information that is reasonably accurate when you make a request, so that we can respond properly.
Requests and enquiries
Sending a request through this website tells us what you are interested in. It does not by itself create a confirmed booking, purchase, reservation or contract with Whitestones or with any supplier. Our receipt of your request is not an acceptance or confirmation of it. An arrangement is only confirmed once its details, and any applicable terms and charges, have been agreed with you directly.
Availability
Vehicles, aircraft, yachts, properties, reservations, experiences and other opportunities often depend on the availability and confirmation of third parties. Their appearance on this website does not mean that a specific asset is currently available.
Sourcing
To fulfil your brief, Whitestones may search its network and contact third parties on your behalf. We will make reasonable efforts, but private sourcing cannot promise that a particular asset, property, reservation or opportunity can be obtained.
Third-party suppliers
Many arrangements are supplied by independent third parties — operators, owners, agents, venues and other providers. Where this applies, they may have their own contracts, eligibility requirements, terms, cancellation policies and charges, which we will make known to you before you commit. Whitestones remains responsible for carrying out its own brokerage and arrangement service with reasonable care and skill.
Quotes and pricing
Content on this website is not a binding quotation unless we expressly say so. Before you enter any paid arrangement, we will tell you the final price and any deposits, commissions, brokerage fees, taxes, delivery costs and supplier charges that apply. Once a price has been agreed, it will not be changed without a valid reason that we explain to you.
Payments
This website does not take payments. Where an arrangement requires payment, the applicable payment terms will be communicated to you separately before you commit.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellation and change rights, and any related charges, vary with each arrangement and supplier. The conditions that apply will be communicated to you before you commit to a paid arrangement. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights.
Your responsibilities
Please give us the information reasonably needed to arrange your request. Depending on the service, a supplier may need details such as licences, identification, passenger information, travel documents or other eligibility information. Where that is the case, we will tell you what is needed and how it should be provided.
Travel
You remain responsible for holding the passports, visas and other travel documents your journey requires, unless we expressly agree to assist with a particular requirement. Entry, immigration and border decisions rest with the relevant authorities, and we cannot promise their outcome.
Vehicles and motorcycles
Driving or riding may be subject to licence, age, insurance, deposit and other eligibility requirements set by the supplier.
Property
Property information and opportunities may come from owners, agents or other third parties, and remain subject to verification, availability and contract. Property imagery on this website is not a listing unless we expressly say so.
Website imagery
Imagery on this website shows the type and standard of what Whitestones can seek to arrange. It may be illustrative rather than a depiction of a specific asset, venue or opportunity.
Accuracy
We aim to keep this website accurate, but availability, specifications, pricing and third-party information can change. Details relevant to your arrangement will be confirmed with you directly.
Intellectual property
The Whitestones name, branding, written content, layout and other materials created for this website belong to Whitestones or are used with permission. Third-party names, trademarks and photography remain the property of their respective owners; their appearance here does not imply endorsement.
Acceptable use
- Do not use this website for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not interfere with its operation or attempt to compromise its security.
- Do not copy or misuse its materials beyond ordinary personal viewing.
Liability
Whitestones is responsible for providing its own brokerage and arrangement service with reasonable care and skill. Services supplied by independent third parties are provided under those suppliers' own terms, and the supplier is responsible for performing them; where something goes wrong, we will help you raise it with them. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for losses arising from events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Privacy
How we handle the information you share is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply from the date they are published here and do not alter arrangements already agreed with you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections given by the law of your home country, and you may bring proceedings where that law allows.
