Privacy
Your preferences remain yours.
This policy explains what information Whitestones collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not merely filed.
Whitestones is currently operated as the Whitestones luxury brokerage service. Formal legal entity details will be added before public commercial launch.

What we collect
When you make an enquiry, we collect only what you choose to give us:
- Your written brief — the request you describe, in your own words, kept exactly as you wrote it.
- Your contact information — name, and an email address or telephone number, so an advisor can respond.
- Your selected service location — the place where you require Whitestones, chosen by you from the location selector.
- Service-specific details — the answers you give on a particular request, such as dates, destinations, party size or preferences.
- The page you enquired from and the time of your enquiry.
We do not collect information about you automatically beyond what is described under “Cookies and storage” below. We do not use advertising pixels, and we do not build behavioural profiles.
Dietary information
Some requests — dining in particular — may invite you to share dietary requirements. This is always optional, and we ask that you provide it only where relevant to arranging your request. Because dietary information can reveal things about your health or beliefs, we treat it as special-category information: where you choose to provide it, we ask for your explicit consent at the time, and we record that consent with your enquiry. We use it solely to arrange that request — never for marketing, profiling or any unrelated purpose.
Why we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange what you have asked for — the performance of the service you requested.
- To remember your selected service location between pages and visits, so the site behaves as you left it.
- For Reserve relationships, to become familiar with the preferences you choose to share, so each request begins with context rather than from zero.
- Where you have given explicit consent — for example, dietary information — we rely on that consent, and you may withdraw it at any time.
Whitestones does not currently send marketing communications.
Sharing
Arranging a request often means speaking with the people who will provide it — a venue, an operator, a supplier. Where necessary to arrange what you have asked for, relevant details may be shared with those service providers, and only to the extent needed. Some arrangements take place outside the United Kingdom; where that is the case, the information needed for the arrangement will travel with it. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction concerning them, unless information must be kept longer for a legal, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention or other legitimate requirement. After that period, enquiry records are reviewed and removed.
Cookies and storage
This website uses very little storage, and none of it is used for advertising or analytics:
- A hosting cookie (__dpl) is set by our hosting provider as part of serving the site. It supports the technical delivery of the website; we do not use it to identify or track you.
- Your selected service location is kept in your own browser's local storage (ws-service-location) so the site remembers it as you move between pages. It never leaves your browser except as part of an enquiry you choose to send.
The typefaces used on this site are served from our own systems, not from a third-party font service, so your browser does not contact one when you visit.
Some pages offer a link to speak with an advisor on WhatsApp. Nothing is sent when you click the link alone: it opens WhatsApp with a suggested message, which you can review, edit or discard. Information is only shared if you choose to continue and send it through WhatsApp, at which point WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply.
Where your information is held
The website is hosted by Lovable, and enquiries are stored in our Lovable Cloud backend. These providers process information on our behalf in order to operate the website and store enquiries securely.
Security
Enquiries can be submitted by anyone, but cannot be read, changed or deleted through the website. Access to stored enquiries is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep the information you entrust to us protected and limited to those who need it.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law, you may have the right to request access to the information we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected, deleted or restricted, to object to certain uses, or to receive a portable copy where applicable. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to whitestonesprive@consultant.com. We will consider every request; some information may need to be retained where a legal or legitimate requirement applies.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how your information has been handled.
